I have been gambling on the net or at land based gambling dens for many years. I have determined, the habit usually will grab a hold of you and you won’t even see it till you are bankrupt. Specifically if you are on a profit streak. I have been through uncounted hundreds of dollars in just a little period of time and even still on occasion, I sometimes go a bit too far. It feels like you are only having a blast up till you decide to pay attention to your loss and the anguish settles in, and of course you continue advising yourself "I might be able to gain it back" ad infinitum. It does not work. Then you feel queasy in your gut and the harder you try the quicker you lose.
When you observe that you are in the black, STAY in the Black! When you start to fritter away, do not inform yourself, "well just one more" over and over again, trust me, this plan RARELY ever functions. Say you are gambling on one armed bandits, have a number set aside ahead of beginning your wagering. DO NOT exceed that limit, no matter how tempting. If you happen to succeed, put that in a separate pot. Do not risk your earnings at any cost. After you have gambled through your original set threshold, stop. Back off, regardless if it is on the internet or in a real life gambling hall, do not stick at the tables or machines. At all times keep in mind, there certainly is another day, another time. Clearly, this scheme can function for any game that you enjoy, be it bingo, poker, electronic poker, keno, vingt-et-un or any other game.
Keep in mind, gaming should be FUN not burdensome, sickening work! If you are not having fun yourself, you do not belong at the casinos. If you cannot afford the loss, do not even begin.
